The Gingerbread baby is ready to be bound! Next Week: -In science we will discuss different ways that homes and buildings are heated -We will continue to journal about addition strategies in our classroom particularly looking for combinations that make 10 while adding. -Students will have a chance to write their own Ginger Bread story in our first mini writing project before Winter break. Learning through the arts: -In connection to our Social Studies curriculum we dug up a bucket of prairie soil. Our artist in residence is going to help us separate out the clay from the soil so that we can use it as an art material. -In the pictures above the students are activating water colour pencil lines with water and brushes. They are creating their good copies for our Gingerbread Baby Book.
